• Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently to engage with clients in the region.
Preferred qualifications:
• Proven track record in frontline sales, online advertising, business development, marketing, or consultative sales, including experience managing Google Ads accounts and winning business growth through persuasive pitches.
• Ability to communicate in English fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional investigative and analytical problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to assess complex issues, identify root causes, and develop effective, data-driven solutions.
• Detail-oriented with the capability to consistently produce a high volume of quality work, manage tight deadlines under pressure, and maintain a strong commitment to client service.

As an Account Manager, you will develop and manage relationships directly with top advertisers in Japan, and be a focused, proactive driver who is able to multitask in a fast-moving environment. The team owns the mission to light the spark of digital transformation in large Ad spenders with high potential in Large Customer Sales (LCS). You will be an advisor and consultant, as well as an advocate for clients within Google. You will use your analytical skills and communication skills to grow existing business, develop and win new business with top global and domestic clients, and support your team with account and market knowledge and other collateral.

Responsibilities
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leading advertisers and media/creative agencies, leading strategic discussions to understand business objectives, proactively solve complex challenges, and deliver high-touch customer support.
• Analyze complex client, campaign, and product performance datasets to uncover critical trends, form data-backed hypotheses, and build robust account plans that drive campaign effectiveness.
• Partner with internal technical specialists and Google product experts to leverage emerging advertising features, implement innovative solutions, and continuously optimize campaign performance to maximize advertiser ROI.
• Identify performance gaps and strategic growth opportunities to build and deliver tailored pitch proposals, effectively addressing client objections and expanding long-term advertiser investment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on strategic projects and develop case studies highlighting successful campaigns to share valuable insights and best practices with clients and internal teams.
