• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience designing commercial strategies in retail media, CTV, or first-party data activation.
• Experience bringing measurement frameworks and operational discipline to unmeasured, bespoke agreement pilots.
• Strong cross-functional acumen with the ability to influence cross-product area partners across product, sales, and commercial finance.
• Exceptional people management and storytelling skills, with the ability to proactively build trust and influence stakeholders across varied seniority levels.
About the job
The Global Incentives team drives our commercial strategy by designing and incubating programs (e.g., Video Incentive Program, Media Trials Program, Media Readiness Program) that yield business results for our partners and customers. Within YouTube Ads GTM, our mission is to build global incentives—along with the tools, systems, workflows, and communications—that allow our commercial plays to scale with speed and precision. As the Commercial Strategy Lead for Google Marketing Platform (GMP), you will sit at the intersection of product, finance, engineering, and sales, acting as the primary incubator for the next generation of platform incentives. You will possess the rare ability to translate complex product or regional nuances into a clear goal, ensuring our global initiatives are as precise as they are ambitious, while making the tough calls necessary to keep resources focused on the highest-priority opportunities.
Your core role is to grow Display and Video 360 business through compliant, long-term-oriented, Return on Investment (ROI)-positive structures that counter pressures and capitalize on white spaces.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $152000 - $221000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
• Dissect market dynamics and agency trading arm feedback to identify programmatic commercial incentive white-space opportunities.
• Establish standardized commercial frameworks for programmatic incentive pilots, bridging product gaps and testing customer elasticity without immediate engineering resources.
• Architect and define the operational blueprints and margin parameters to evaluate, graduate, and scale mature, validated programmatic pilots into core, repeatable incentive programs.
• Partner across GMP leadership, Product GTM, Ads Finance, Business Accounting, and regional sales teams to deploy sustainable platform incentive models aligned with YouTube GTM goals.
