Job description

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or 2 years with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
• Proficiency with SQL or similar database querying languages and database schema, or a willingness to learn.
• Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
• Ability to persuade through disciplined use of data with comfort distilling complex topics into concise narratives for executive consumption.
• Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business judgment, leadership skills and ability to communicate with executives and executive management teams.
• Exceptional dexterity with presentation and spreadsheet tools.

US: $116000 - $166000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
• Analyze, build, represent, and defend financial analyses of new commercial agreements and business cases, developing data-driven Finance Points of View on how to maximize long-term value for YouTube.
• Work cross-functionally to support decision-making for new spend initiatives and business trade-offs, developing and representing a Finance Point of View to help drive the organization toward the right long-term outcomes, and ensuring that financial considerations are taken into account where appropriate across commercial partnership proposals.
• Ensure accuracy and financial controls throughout the agreement process (e.g., minimal forecast variance, structured performance reporting, and alignment with Engineering, Product Management, and Accounting to maintain data integrity).
