Job description

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in program management, operational design, management consulting, or HR operations leading initiatives.
Preferred qualifications:
• Master's degree, MBA, or advanced professional certification (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Change Management).
• 10 years of experience leading global process governance or shared services operations across multi-country, scaled enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in leveraging HR technology, automation, and digital platforms to streamline workflows and modernize employee/candidate experiences.
• Direct experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams of program managers and process specialists.
• Proven track record of translating complex qualitative insights and quantitative performance metrics into prioritized product and service enhancements.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous, changing environments, resolve executive-level escalations, and align conflicting cross-organizational priorities.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $164000 - $239000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
• Draw interpretable insights from data analysis and provide data-driven strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and monitor risks and record their evolution and influence on project/program objectives.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand work problems and program goals and communicate program goals and objectives to stakeholders.
• Establish and track processes, hold stakeholders accountable for following processes, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Lead a team of individuals; set and communicate team priorities that support organizational goals. Set clear expectations with individuals based on their level and role and aligned to the broader organization's goals and meet regularly with individuals to discuss performance and development, and provide feedback and coaching.
