Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in a sales role in the enterprise software or cloud space.
• Leadership experience within a quota-carrying team, such as people management, team lead, mentorship or coaching.
• Experience selling Software as a Service (SaaS), Productivity, or Collaboration technology solutions to clients.
• Experience in Enterprise and Public Sector sales.
Preferred qualifications:
• People and business management experience, supporting career development of a high performing sales team and business growth.
• Experience planning and organizing go-to-market strategies, business programs, and sales activity within your team and territory.
• Experience influencing cross-functional teams to impact business goals, customer experience, and customer expansion.
• Experience developing product and solution messaging, narratives, and value propositions.
• Experience leveraging knowledge of relevant products, solutions, and market trends, with the analytical abilities to analyze sales performance data or market changes, to drive strategic direction.
• Problem solving, communication, presentation, active listening, and program management skills.

As a Workspace Sales Specialist Manager, you will lead a team responsible for growing our Productivity and Collboration business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers.
You will effectively build relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. Field Sales, Customer Engineering, Solution Architecture, Product) and customers, supporting the team to do the same.
You will ensure your team has the necessary selling skills to demonstrate product functionality and comprehensive overviews of key business use cases, and close business. You will support a positive, high-performing, and inclusive team culture, while leading with empathy and identifying innovative ways to multiply the impact of the team as a whole to drive overall value for Google Cloud.

Responsibilities
• Achieve and forecast quarterly goals, maintain retention rates in the customer base, increase our installed base with Public Sector customers, and discover and close growth opportunities.
• Hire, coach, and grow a team to deliver against assigned retention and growth goals while prioritizing an outstanding customer experience.
• Contribute to territory strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities. Work to maximize business results and open opportunities with Public Sector customers.
• Explore and understand Public Sector customer requirements on both a business and technical level.
• Manage an account management team focused on executive-level engagements coupled with scale and growth opportunities.
