Hollywood ReelTime is looking for a driven, creative, and digitally savvy Digital Producer to join our collaborative team.
Hollywood ReelTime is a fast-growing entertainment news brand that lives at the intersection of television, digital, and social media. From breaking celebrity news and exclusive interviews to viral moments and pop culture trends, we deliver must-watch content wherever audiences are watching.
Our live daily show airs Monday through Friday at 7:30 PM on NBC4 Los Angeles, NBC Bay Area, and additional NBC-owned stations, while our digital and social platforms keep the conversation going around the clock.
This is an exciting opportunity to help build a new entertainment brand from the ground up, creating content that reaches millions of viewers across broadcast, digital, and social platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the entire HRT Team to produce engaging and entertaining content for digital platforms and linear broadcast
• Production responsibilities include writing, shooting, editing, sourcing elements, clearing footage for digital posts
• The HRT Digital Producer brainstorms, pitches ideas, research topics and works closely with the Senior Executive Producer, Executive Producer and entire team to advance stories and produce digital segments both in-studio and in the field
• Plan and contribute to digital and social coverage
• Work with sales teams to produce integrated content
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism or related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in social platforms and digital analytics
• Must be willing and available to work late nights, overnights, weekends and holidays
• Knowledge and experience are a must about entertainment, pop-culture, current events and cultural stories that generate buzz
• Strong video editing skills
• Experience working with multiple social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Facebook)
• Excellent computer skills
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

• Strong understanding of linear broadcast practices
• Creative mindset and keen interest in entertainment and pop culture content
• Possess ability to develop story ideas, research, and plan digital posts
• Basic understanding and demonstration of editorial judgment and journalistic ethics in all platforms, including a current knowledge of laws of libel, slander and applicable FCC rules and regulations
• Good collaborative and interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels
Additional Requirements:
• Required On-Site : This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
• Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000
