Job description

• 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
• Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience leveraging AI-driven marketing technologies, first-party data strategies, or cross-border expansion initiatives.
• Proven track record of managing high-value client portfolios, building joint business plans, and consistently delivering revenue targets.
• Strong familiarity with Google Ads solutions (Search, YouTube/Video, Demand Gen, App Campaigns) and digital measurement frameworks.
• Deep industry knowledge of Japan's retailers, pure-play marketplaces, digital platforms, or B2B commerce landscapes.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex client organizations and influence senior stakeholders with data-driven storytelling.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.
Responsibilities
• Develop joint business plans with measurable KPIs, manage quarterly pacing, ensure accurate forecasting, and achieve revenue targets.
• Drive adoption of AI Search, YouTube, and App expansion by delivering data-driven pitches to capture incremental budgets.
• Build alliances with key decision-makers, address client objections, transform challenges into commercial opportunities, and demonstrate clear ROI.
• Orchestrate internal Google teams—including Product Specialists and Cloud counterparts—to deliver seamless end-to-end client solutions.
• Scale best practices and contribute to sector culture with high ownership and teamwork.
