<p><strong>Infrastructure Engineer&nbsp;</strong></p>
<p>Convera is looking for a forward-thinking technical leader who can build and lead a team of network engineers who could transform current network platforms (WAN, LAN, Wireless) into modern day architecture using industry leading technologies and be future ready.</p>
<p>The role requires great understanding &amp; knowledge on Routing &amp; Switching, MPLS, IPSec, Wireless, cloud based SD-WAN solution, SD-LAN, FWs, Load Balancers and other related network technologies.</p>
<p>Responsibilities:<br>• Accountable for direction, strategy, and implementation of the overall Enterprise Network Infrastructure Architecture<br>• Coordinate strategies &amp; participate in technology selection activities and work with the appropriate business and IT stakeholders to ensure the long-term network infrastructure technology plan<br>• Technical SPOC for enterprise-wide network infrastructure technology<br>• Define principles/standards for infrastructure which includes Cloud, Remote office locations<br>• Lead &amp; participate in vendor evaluation and selection of network technology solution<br>• Design and deploy company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including firewalls, routers, switches, UPSs, and other hardware.<br>• Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades<br>• Achieve operational efficiency by proactive monitoring, issue resolution &amp; root cause analysis<br>• Execute, support and improve Business Continuity Plan<br>• Responsible for Network, Firewalls, ISP management, Site reliability<br>• Reporting network status to key stakeholders<br>• Partner with other IT teams to achieve business excellence</p>
<p>ABOUT IDEAL CANDIDATE<br>Minimum Qualifications:<br>• Experienced in Cloud-based architecture and deployments, particularly with AWS<br>• Experienced in implementing and managing enterprise WAN, LAN &amp; Wireless networks<br>• Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including routers, switches (layer 2/3), firewalls, remote access, DNS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, QoS, VPN and SDWAN.<br>• Expert level knowledge in products like, Palo Alto FW, Palo Alto SD-WAN, Aurba wireless, Cisco switches<br>• Works closely with Cyber Security leader to develop and execute continuous improvement plans<br>• Proven technical leader and would be able to lead a team<br>• Strong oral and written communications with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills<br>• Collaborative working style to be able to partner with IT stakeholders across organization and Influence technology decisions</p>
<p>Preferred Qualifications:<br>• Experience in supporting cloud based contact center implementation<br>• Strong Understanding Architecture Principles, Patterns, Guidelines, Architecture Standards, Technology trends, emerging technologies, Enterprise Architecture processes like Design Reviews, Architecture Review Boards<br>• Experience leading multiple projects including experience managing team efforts, processes, and technologies throughout project full-life cycles<br>• Great attention to detail and follow through on tasks<br>• Innovative and Self Motivated<br>• Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines<br>• Vendor management<br>• Skilled communicator with ability to present technical topics to senior leadership</p>
