• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in internal and executive communications with technology products or services.
• Experience with stakeholder management.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience with change management and communicating organizational change with empathy.
• Experience in digital advertising and machine learning/AI, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging content.
• Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to drive communication narratives across the internal organization.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly, and prioritize effectively.
• Effective team player with exceptional attention to detail, strong execution skills, and multimedia expertise.
• Strong writer and communicator who can effectively craft emails, scripts, presentations, and human-focused stories in a leader's unique voice.
About the job
As a member of the Executive and Internal Communications team, you will be part of a team which produces employee communications and events for Google executives. You will work with members of your internal client team on communications initiatives, projects and programs. You will support the work of the team to create strategic communications campaigns, come up with innovative ways to engage employees that are in tune with Google's culture, write communications, business update presentations and talking points. You will also collaborate with internal partners as needed across functions (PR, Policy, Legal, HR, Operations, etc.) and geographies.
The Ads & Commerce (A&C) Internal Communications (IC) team drives communications for senior leaders within A&C – the engine that fuels our business. You’ll define the IC strategy for the Search, YouTube, Display & Video Ads organizations to inform, inspire, and engage A&C employees globally with consistent messaging, stories of purpose, innovation, and growth. Your role helps Googlers understand how A&C innovations are creating billions of connections between people and businesses — enabling the success of millions of businesses, publishers and creators, while helping billions of people find what they are looking for on the web.

To succeed here, you'll combine creativity with organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously, as well as enjoy pitching to journalists, bloggers and commentators, or producing internal communications and events for our employees. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $141000 - $205000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
• Lead internal comms strategy and execution for core ad product areas (Search, YouTube, Display & Video Ads), collaborating across functions and geographies.
• Partner with and influence executives, advising on leadership communications style, alignment with broader Google/Knowledge & Information strategy, and change management during uncertainty.
• Develop, write, and edit clear executive communications, including emails, presentations, FAQs, scripts, and multi-channel messaging platforms.
• Interface with broader A&C internal comms to engage global employees with stories of growth, purpose, and product innovation.
• Serve as the primary comms contact and content owner for A&C-wide and cross-Google forums, measuring impact and outcomes across initiatives.
