• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics.
• 2 years of experience in SQL and data visualization (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar technologies).
• Experience with statistical concepts to lead experimentation frameworks (including A/B and incrementality tests) to measure and drive conversion funnel performance.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience with data warehousing or data modeling concepts.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Python, or R).
• Experience with translating business requirements to BI solutions.
• Experience with explaining technical analysis to stakeholders.
• Experience with growth and scaled marketing channels.

As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will power the future of publisher strategy by empowering clients to maximize content business and ensure a thriving, sustainable, ad-supported open internet. This role sits within the Publisher Intelligence team and is focused on driving through innovative testing initiatives. In this role, you will cross-functionally team up to deliver valuable customer insights and leverage analytics to inform key decisions.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $96000 - $136000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
• Analyze marketing channel performance to optimize growth strategies across key scaled channels, such as email, events, social media, websites, etc., and identify new opportunities to grow via data-driven recommendations.
• Lead campaign experimentation and incrementality analyses to measure business impact of marketing efforts and inform future investments to maximize impact of marketing spend.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and infrastructure to automate marketing operations and provide insight into business and campaign performance.
• Develop a nuanced understanding of customer user journeys through customer research and data analysis to provide actionable market and customer insights for our marketing programs.
• Cross-collaborate across Marketing, Product, Legal, and Sales teams across a variety of work streams while adhering to Google brand guidelines.
