Marketing Partnerships Creative Manager - Korea
Job description
Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.
It’s an exciting time to join Netflix as we continue to bring new stories to audiences around the world and expand how we work with brands and advertisers. Strategic partnerships and our advertising business create new opportunities to connect brands with entertainment, fandom, and engaged audiences.
Netflix works with brands and advertisers to create partnerships that bring our stories into culture in new ways. In Korea, the Marketing Partnerships Creative team leads the creative work behind these collaborations, connecting partner objectives, audience insights, and Netflix titles to develop campaigns that people want to engage with and talk about.
We’re looking for a Marketing Partnerships Creative Manager to lead this work from strategy through execution. The role spans two connected areas: consumer-facing campaigns created with brand partners and distribution partners, and B2B marketing and creative work that communicates the value of Netflix Ads to advertisers and agencies. This includes shaping compelling narratives, sales materials, and industry experiences that demonstrate how brands can connect with audiences through Netflix. Across both areas, you’ll translate business objectives into distinctive creative work grounded in a strong understanding of our brand, content, and audiences.
The role
You will work closely with Brand Partnerships / Partner Marketing Leads to identify opportunities, shape proposals, and lead the creative development of partnership campaigns. You’ll be involved from the earliest conversations: understanding a partner’s business challenge, finding a compelling role for Netflix and its titles, developing a strategic brief, and guiding the idea through production and launch.
You will be a partner-facing creative lead, working directly with advertisers and their agencies while bringing together teams across Netflix. You’ll lead briefings, workshops, presentations, and creative reviews; give clear direction and feedback; and ensure the final work delivers on its strategic intent, meets a high standard of creative excellence, and brings the Netflix brand and our titles to life in compelling ways.
You will also lead creative work that supports the Ads business, including pitch narratives, case studies, sales materials, and selected industry events and large-scale initiatives. This calls for someone who can move between big-picture thinking and hands-on delivery, managing multiple projects without losing sight of the idea.
Key responsibilities
• Develop partnership opportunities and strategy. Explore Netflix titles and audiences to identify opportunities for partners. Connect partner objectives, consumer behavior, and cultural insights to create briefs, concepts, and presentations that can be pitched and developed into campaigns.
• Lead campaigns end to end. Own creative strategy and development from the initial brief through ideation, planning, production, and execution. Ensure the campaign narrative remains clear and the work meets its business and creative objectives.
• Lead the creative process with partners and agencies. Run workshops, briefings, presentations, and review sessions. Set direction, manage the feedback loop, and constructively challenge collaborators to make the work more distinctive and effective.
• Oversee creative execution. Direct the development and delivery of campaign assets across relevant formats and channels. Manage creative and design agencies, vendors, and bespoke productions or shoots when needed.
• Develop creative work for Ads marketing. Shape pitch narratives and lead the development of sales enablement materials, including presentations, video, print, social content, and case studies. Ensure the work communicates a compelling story, meets a high creative standard, and is reviewed, approved, and delivered on time.
• Lead creative operations for major initiatives. Manage the creative workstream for selected Ads industry events and large-scale projects, including creative strategy and concepting, agency engagement, workflows, timelines, budgets, production, and coordination across teams.
• Build alignment and protect the work. Partner closely with internal creative, marketing, sales, legal, and other relevant teams to navigate approvals and clearances. Ensure the Netflix brand and owned or licensed titles are represented and used appropriately throughout partner and Ads creative.
Qualifications and experience
• 12+ years of experience in brand or consumer marketing, with substantial experience leading creative development at an advertising or integrated agency. In-house brand marketing / creative experience is a strong plus.
• A proven ability to independently lead complex, integrated campaigns from brief and strategy through creative development, production, and launch.
• Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to draw connections between business objectives, consumer research, behavior, culture, and content to find fertile ground for creative ideas.
• Strong creative instincts and a media-agnostic approach. You can contribute ideas, shape and pitch concepts, write compelling briefs, and guide agencies toward work that feels fresh rather than expected.
• Experience building trusted relationships with external partners and agencies, and aligning and influencing stakeholders across a complex, matrixed organization. You can navigate different organizational structures, dynamics, and working styles, adapting your communication with clarity, sound judgment, and diplomacy.
• Solid production knowledge and project management skills. You can manage several workstreams, get into the details when needed, and solve problems while protecting the broader strategic intent.
• Fluency in Korean and English, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with internal teams and external senior stakeholders.
• A deep understanding of the Korean market and the role cultural relevance plays in effective marketing. Experience in entertainment, content, or advertising partnerships is a plus.
• Strong English proficiency; experience communicating and working with global teams and stakeholders is a plus.
How you work
You’re curious about entertainment and have a genuine interest in how people connect with stories, brands, and culture. You bring a point of view while staying open to other perspectives, and you know how to give and receive candid, constructive feedback.
You take ownership without needing a large team around you. You understand how to work across different organizations and working styles, communicate with judgment and diplomacy, and roll up your sleeves to move work forward when the path is unclear. You’re comfortable adapting as the business evolves and can thrive in Netflix’s culture of freedom and responsibility .
Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates. If you want an accommodation/adjustment for a disability or any other reason during the hiring process, please send a request to your recruiting partner.
