Job description

As a Padel Coach, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality coaching programmes, developing players of all standards, and helping to create an engaging club atmosphere. You will be responsible for coaching individuals and groups, supporting club events, driving participation, and contributing to membership retention and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching & Player Development
• Deliver professional and engaging coaching sessions for adults and juniors.
• Provide individual and group coaching programmes.
• Develop structured player pathways from beginner to advanced levels.
• Support members in achieving their personal padel goals.
• Deliver coaching in line with Slazenger Padel Club standards.
Member Experience
• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all players.
• Build strong relationships with members and guests.
• Encourage participation in coaching programmes, social sessions, leagues, and tournaments.
• Support member retention through excellent customer service and engagement.
Events & Programming
• Organise and deliver social padel events, coaching clinics, competitions, and junior camps.
• Assist with club tournaments and member engagement activities.
• Promote club programmes and events to maximise participation.
Operational Support
• Ensure courts, coaching equipment, and facilities are maintained to a high standard.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and club policies.
• Report maintenance issues, incidents, or risks promptly.
• Support club opening and closing procedures when required.
Commercial Performance
• Promote coaching packages, courses, and club programmes.
• Assist in growing coaching revenue and participation levels.
• Contribute to club membership growth through coaching and community outreach initiatives.
• Help identify new opportunities to expand coaching services.
Qualifications
Skills & Experience
Essential
• Recognised Padel Coaching Qualification (LTA equivalent).
• Experience delivering coaching sessions to players of varying abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for coaching, player development, and padel.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
Desirable
• Experience coaching juniors and adult groups.
• First Aid Qualification.
• Safeguarding and DBS certification.
• Experience organising padel events and competitions.
• Experience using club management systems such as Playtomic.
