• Experience in building partner ecosystems for partners and cloud integrators.
• Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience with the cloud ecosystem and presenting to executive audiences.
• Experience in managing relationships with partners in the specific markets.
• Experience in delivering go-to-market strategies and results.

Google Cloud teams work with schools, companies, and government agencies to make them more productive, mobile, and collaborative. On this team, you will drive Google Cloud business relationships by analyzing partner business performance, identifying methods of increasing partner and Google returns, pitching ideas to and identifying opportunities within partners, and coordinating across Google teams to deliver. You will educate our partners on the power of Google Cloud and enable them to be successful in driving innovation to our customers.
As a Partner Development Manager, you'll be responsible for recruitment, growth, and creation of new practice areas, and offerings for the ecosystem of named partners in Japan. You'll create and manage executive relationships with existing and new partners, offering them strategic advice and thought leadership. You'll also develop close relationships with our partner development managers (solution focused) to grow the relevance and impact of assigned partners to the Google Cloud business.
Responsibilities
• Develop and grow existing partnerships to address market opportunities, expand business, and create balanced partner portfolios. Structure new commercial terms to deepen partner commitment to building solutions on Google Cloud and focus on deepening relationships with regional sales leadership and opportunities that expand top line revenue growth.
• Create opportunities for new intellectual property and differentiation across business partnerships and build an innovative goal, focused on AI, data and analytics and security, for new partner solutions on Google Cloud.
• Drive the creation of global demand generation and GTM plans to achieve Google Cloud and partner sales goals. Build the annual plan for each assigned partner with the regional partner and field sales organizations.
• Support assigned partners in your portfolio around key areas (sales, operations, etc.).
