Job description
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
Preferred qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
• Practical experience configuring, querying, or troubleshooting CRM architectures (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or custom internal backends).
• Ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience effectively.
• Ability to work independently and to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with effective problem-solving, analytical and project management skills.
• Demonstrated coding ability with Java or Python, and database knowledge with the ability to construct complex SQL queries.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.
You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.
The Product Deployment Engineering Team for Measurement Services, gTech Ads GCS, provides exceptional complex measurement implementation for Google’s top GCS advertising clients. This team serves as the critical bridge between GCS customer business requirements and gTech Ads’ service and engineering offerings.
The core objective of the team is to unlock data foundations, specifically driving the adoption of complex Google data strength products (e.g., ECL, GTG). Team members collaborate with high growth customers on non-standard, complex environments to unlock business growth and defend business. To achieve this, PDEs conduct comprehensive audits and deep-dive sessions to diagnose technical environments, identify customer pain points, and enable product adoption.

Responsibilities
• Partner with sales and product leads, evaluate client technical maturity and first-party data strategies to guide scalable solution adoption.
• Uncover custom technical opportunities while funneling critical product gaps and edge cases back to core Ads engineering.
• Translate client needs into clear system architectures, author prototype-grounded requirement documents and standardized deployment playbooks.
• Design durable, privacy-compliant data pipelines—including Google Ads API integrations—and enforce validation frameworks using real-world data subsets.
• Orchestrate cross-functional efforts across gTech and client teams to oversee smooth implementation and successful last-mile activation.
