Job description

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Bioengineering, a related quantitative/technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product management, technical product management, or software engineering, including leading products through the full development lifecycle.
• 3 years of experience leading cross-functional technical projects from concept through production launch, partnering across engineering, research, or external stakeholders.
• Experience leading any one production AI/LLM product through lifecycle evaluation, testing, or benchmark deployment.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience directly engaging enterprise, government, or academic users to translate domain challenges into product requirements.
• Experience designing or deploying multi-agent systems, LLM-based agents, or autonomous multi-step reasoning frameworks in production.
• Track record of building self-improving quality frameworks or automated meta-agent orchestration models.

At DeepMind, we are expanding our team as we sharpen focus on the commercialization and real-world impact of AI models and agents across science, cybersecurity, and coding agents. This role connects GDM research with Cloud AI product teams to turn research into transformative enterprise, academic, and government solutions.
In this position, you will lead 0 to 1 product launches from GDM research into Google Cloud, engage directly with customers to understand user needs and assess business impact, and define requirements for a self-improving agent framework that automatically diagnoses issues and scales product quality across engagements.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $256000 - $278000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
• Define product outlook, roadmap, and success metrics for high-impact GDM research initiatives, translating complex innovation into enterprise and commercial solutions.
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from incubation to launch, collaborating cross-functionally with GDM and Cloud teams to define opportunities, requirements, and priorities.
• Secure leadership buy-in and cross-functional alignment by converting product strategy and articulating the strategic business and societal impact of your portfolio.
• Drive product delivery by mediating challenges, optimizing resource allocation, and harmonizing processes to track performance and scale product quality.
• Act as the primary subject matter expert for your domain, providing decisive guidance to internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive and responsible product execution.
