About the job
Every day, thousands of global partners—including systems integrators, resellers, independent software vendors (ISVs), managed service providers (MSPs), and technology partners—rely on Google Cloud to build, scale, and transform enterprise businesses. At the heart of this global ecosystem is the Partner Program Platform, which powers the foundational infrastructure and lifecycle operations for Google Cloud Partner Advantage.
The Partner Program Platform governs how partners onboard, achieve competency badges and specializations, maintain compliance, register agreements, and receive commercial incentives and rebates.
Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google’s cutting-edge technology, and tools that help developers build more sustainably. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.
Responsibilities
• Own the strategy, architecture, and multi-quarter roadmap for foundational engines, data models, and services powering partner tiering, incentives, competencies, and co-sell workflows.
• Bridge Partner Strategy, GTM Operations, Finance, and Engineering—translating complex commercial policies into high-scale, low-latency platform capabilities, automated primitives, and APIs.
• Partner with systems architects to define Logical Business Objects, event streams, and Google Remote Procedure Call (gRPC)/REST APIs connecting CRM (Salesforce), Cloud Marketplace, Billing, and Partner Hub.
• Build the API infrastructure and foundational capabilities enabling self-service tools and internal agentic workflows (e.g., Partner Agent and sales copilots).
• Ensure robust enterprise security (e.g., Zanzibar/CAMP access controls), multi-jurisdiction compliance, financial auditability, and fraud defenses. Define, monitor, and optimize platform reliability, latency, evaluation throughput, time-to-tier, and operational velocity metrics.
