Regional Lead, Automotive Business Development (Japanese, English)

• Deep expertise in In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI), Android Automotive OS, Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) architectures, Telematics, and the broader connected mobility ecosystem across key APAC markets.
• Mastered ability to structure and negotiatemulti-million dollar, multi-year strategic agreements with enterprise automotive partners and ecosystem players (e.g., System Integrators (SIs), Tier 1s).
• Proven ability to identify, build, and scale new strategic business lines and market opportunities across disparate geographic sub-regions.
• Exceptional executive presence with a proven track record of presenting to, persuading, and managing relationships with C-level Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) leaders and internal executives.

Responsibilities
• Own the overall Asia-Pacific (APAC) Automotive Business Development (Auto BD) strategy and active user growth (e.g., Monthly Active Users (MAU)/Bookings) for in-car platforms across major automotive markets. You will translate complex market shifts into actionable commercial opportunities and multi-year partnership roadmaps.
• Support negotiations for complex, multi-year strategic agreements with APAC Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and the ecosystem. Architect custom business models, monetization strategies, and value-exchange frameworks while establishing Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and executive steering committees to ensure long-term partner success.
• Operationalize the Auto BD regional model across APAC, acting as the primary anchor connecting regional OEM partners with global Product, Product Engineers, Legal, Finance, and Public Policy teams. Support cross-product area auto initiatives with driving a cohesive narrative across Cloud and Geo for in-vehicle, as well as with Ads, to develop regional business.
