Security Officer Permanent

Unlock an exclusive security opportunity in Perth! Securitas, a global leader in security services, is seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team.

We are recruiting for two positions; one is working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern rotating days and nights, this would also include weekends. The other position is working a guaranteed 42 hours per week but the shifts are variable.

As a Security Officer, your extensive expertise will be instrumental in maintaining safety and security in Perth. About the Role

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering questions and ensuring a welcoming and secure environment for all individuals on the premises
• Accurately document and report all incidents, observations and daily activities, ensuring clear and timely communication with supervisors and relevant stakeholders
• Collaborate effectively with other security officers and team members to maintain a safe environment, supporting each other during patrols and emergency situations
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, monitor surveillance equipment and promptly address any suspicious activity or security breaches
• Respond swiftly and appropriately to emergency situations, following established protocols to ensure the safety and security of all personnel and property

Essential Skills

• Current, valid SIA Licence
• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history
• Must live within a commutable distance (max. 45 minutes) to site and be able to get to shifts on time
• 1-years Security experience
• IT literate
• Must be proficient in speaking and writing the English language
• Must be flexible in your approach to working
• Well presented to represent the Securitas name
