• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 8 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, performing statistical analysis, and coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL) or 5 years of experience with a Master's degree.
Preferred qualifications:
• Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 8 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, performing statistical analysis, and coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL).

As a Senior Product Data Scientist, you will have a strong product, business, and analytical judgment to drive growth in our Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscriptions. Operating at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Finance and other cross-product area/cross-functional partners, you deliver the key insights needed to drive subscribers, AI product engagement, and business/margin growth for this critical product.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
• Perform analysis utilizing relevant tools. Help solve problems, narrowing down multiple options into the best approach, and take ownership of open-ended ambiguous business problems to reach an optimal solution.
• Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support business reviews with the cross-functional/organizational leadership team. Translate analysis results to business insights or product improvement opportunities.
• Partner closely with PM and Engineering to deliver robust analytics/experimentation infrastructure and processes that deliver insights and decision-making at scale for Google One AI subscriptions growth and its XPA partners.
• Identify complex business problems and come up with analytical solutions that improve our product and user experience.
• Act as a product owner in partnership with stakeholders within the organization and cross-functional teams to create business cases for new investment, initiate changes in the product roadmap, and drive prioritization decisions.
