Job description

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in UX design, product design, and interaction design.
• Experience with visual design, mobile design, prototyping, system design, and design strategy.
• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications:
• Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.
• Expertise in Component and System Design.
• Expertise in Mobile and Android design systems.

As part of the Google Meet UX team, you will envision the future of virtual and hybrid work while partnering closely with a multi-disciplinary UX, Product Management, and Engineering team. You will focus on crafting Google Workspace and third-party app integrations in Google Meet.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $159000 - $230000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
• Drive product strategy and design systems through cross-functional alignment and deliverables.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to create solutions that balance business and user needs.
• Develop user journeys, mockups, prototypes, and presentations to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Partner closely with engineering teams to implement designs to specification and identify creative solutions for technical challenges.
• Apply and contribute to shared Google Workspace design systems.
