Come join us at the heart of trust!

We’re a leading online reviews platform, free and open to all. Our mission is to be a universal symbol of trust. We are well on our way - but there’s still an exciting journey ahead of us. Do you want to join us at the heart of trust?

We’re currently looking for a Senior UX researcher to join our team at Trustpilot.

Our goal is simple: to become the most trusted reviews platform in the world. We will achieve this by being ready and willing to disrupt ourselves through innovation, data and insight and adding product professionals with ambitions that match our own.

As Senior UX Researcher, you'll be the go-to expert on measuring how people and businesses experience trust on Trustpilot , from reading a review to deciding our platform is worth paying for. You'll own the quantitative research agenda for your product areas, set the bar for statistical rigour across the team, and partner with Data Science to build a shared measurement culture.

What you'll be doing:

Research strategy & execution

Design and own the quantitative research roadmap for your product areas, e.g. attitudinal measurement, behavioural analysis, and longitudinal tracking.

Lead large-scale surveys (validated scales, NPS derivatives, trust-perception metrics) and log-data/behavioural analytics (funnels, A/B tests, cohort and retention modelling).

Build measurement frameworks that define what ‘good’ looks like for review-reading, purchase-decision, and business-subscription journeys and track them over time.

Quantitative methods

Lead advanced quantitative research - surveys, behavioural analytics, experimentation, predictive modelling using statistical rigor as the throughline, from validated instrument design through to automated, auditable analysis pipelines (Python/R/SQL).

Pioneer AI-assisted techniques (e.g. LLM-assisted open-text analysis) where they genuinely sharpen the work, evaluating any AI tooling with a critical eye on validity and bias.

Standards, influence and coaching

Partner with Data Science and Analytics on shared definitions and data pipelines; hold the bar on study design and statistical rigour across the team.

Translate statistical output into clear, decision-forcing narratives that PMs, designers, and engineers act on.

Coach other researchers in quantitative methods, raising the team's statistical literacy through pairing and structured feedback.

What we're looking for:

4+ years of UX research experience with a strong specialisation in quantitative methods and complex, broad-scope work.

Strong survey methodology (instrument design, sampling, psychometric validation) and statistical grounding (regression, factor/cluster analysis, significance testing).

Hands-on proficiency in Python, R, or SQL, and direct experience with large behavioural datasets (e.g. Amplitude, Looker, BigQuery).

A track record of quant research that measurably shaped product or business decisions, including A/B testing methodology.

Hands-on experience experimenting with AI tools in a research workflow e.g. LLM-assisted analysis, AI-assisted qual coding, or evaluating AI-powered research tooling with a critical eye on validity and bias.

AI-curious practitioner who can speak critically about AI's limits as well as its power; collaborates fluently with qual, data science, and product analysts.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with diverse teams and present data-driven findings in an engaging and accessible way.

What’s in it for you:

A range of flexible working options to dedicate time to what matters to you

Competitive compensation package + bonus

25 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 days after 2 years of employment

Two (paid) volunteering days a year to spend your time giving back to the causes that matter to you and your community

Rich learning and development opportunities are supported through the Trustpilot Academy and Blinkist

Pension and life insurance

Health cash plan, online GP, 24/7 Employee Assistance Plan

Full access to Headspace, a popular mindfulness app to promote positive mental health

Paid parental leave

Season ticket loan and a cycle-to-work scheme

Central office location complete with pop up events organised by our own community team as well as the building’s community team

Regular opportunities to connect and get to know your fellow Trusties, including company-wide celebrations and events, ERG activities, and team socials

Access to over 4,000 deals and discounts on things like travel, electronics, fashion, fitness, cinema discounts, and more.
