As a part of the Chrome Desktop Growth team, you will play a vital role in Chrome's growth and evolution, ensuring that Chrome remains the browser that billions of users want to keep returning to every day.
You will work to grow the usage of Chrome on desktop platforms, ensuring that users always have the ability to choose to use Chrome on all of their devices. You will also design, build, and maintain the foundational features such as the tab strip, tab groups, toolbar, side panel, bookmarks, and other productivity features that enable users to navigate the web more effortlessly. Your work is crucial in shaping a modern, user-centric browser experience that simplifies complex tasks, reduces friction, and ensures Chrome remains the trusted, go-to choice on desktop platforms.

Canada: $150000 - $153000 (CAD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
• Work primarily in C++ and web technologies (HTML, CSS, TS/JS) to develop new features and enhance existing ones in Chrome Desktop, while contributing to the open-source Chromium project, interacting with developers and users across the globe, and learning from colleagues across Google.
• Collaborate with your team implementing new features for Chrome Desktop.
• Write high-quality code that meets Chrome's standards for performance and reliability.
• Partner closely with UX experts to refine feature designs and create seamless interactions.
• Run experiments and analyze results to make data-driven decisions.
