<h2><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h2>
<h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Develop scalable computer systems that manage a large volume of information and use them to fulfill business goals for the company and its partners.</li>
<li>Improve backend scalability and performance by integrating lightweight backend framework, overhauling APIs and optimizing database systems.</li>
<li>Design and build tools that ingest and process signals from various sources to make them more accessible for the company’s partner teams. </li>
<li>Design and implement logging and data visualization system for backend APIs.</li>
<li>Diagnose and resolve software issues reported from production, automated testing, QA testing and customers.</li>
<li>Design and implement scalable and reliable automated testing suites to reduce manual Quality Assurance tasks.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams and streamlined software development and deployment processes with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines.</li>

<h2><strong>Who you are</strong></h2>
<h3><strong>Minimum requirements</strong></h3>
<p>Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus six (6) years of software development experience.</p>
<p>Must also have four (4) years of experience in each of the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>Building software solutions in Java, C++, Python, or Ruby;</li>
<li>Designing, building and maintaining scalable systems;</li>
<li>Translating business needs into software requirements and designs;</li>
<li>Debugging production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack;</li>
<li>Distributed systems; and</li>
<li>Design and implementation of scalable high-performance RESTful microservices.</li>
</ul>
<p>Salary: $206,086 - $285,600/yr</p>
<p>This salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions / sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.</p>
<p>40 hrs/week</p>
<p>50% Telecommuting permitted.</p>
