Software Engineer II, Mobile iOS
Job description
In most instances, this position requires in-person interviews as part of the hiring process. Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 1 year of experience with iOS application development.
Preferred qualifications:
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• Experience with Swift UI and excellent Swift skills.
• Experience building mobile UIs, both within an app and with widgets.
• Knowledge of dependency injection concepts and frameworks.
• Ability to work in partnership with cross-functional teams (e.g UX, analysts), and external collaborators.

Responsibilities
• Build our native iOS offering, including building rich experiences, focused on increasing engagement with Google products and features and incorporating the latest trends in iOS development and capabilities into Google’s apps.
• Explore new initiatives and improvements on how to get users more engaged with Google products and features.
• Increase robustness of existing products, improving data analytics pipelines and analytics, ML capabilities, better experimentation capabilities, alerting, and improving campaign management.
• Improve and scale products, by UX improvement, improving latency and product quality, and experimentation related to content improvement.
