<h2><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h2>
<h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Build, develop, test, and deploy software infrastructure; </li>
<li>Modify existing software to correct errors or to improve its performance; </li>
<li>Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation; </li>
<li>Build, test, and maintain software development for the company’s various codebases to integrate with external financial partners;</li>
<li>Consult and advise other peers on build system choices; </li>
<li>Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints;</li>
<li>Work with engineers across the company to build new features at large-scale;</li>
<li>Implement unit, functional, and integration tests to prevent bugs and regressions; </li>
<li>Set the mission and perform short and medium term planning and prioritization for an engineering team;</li>
<li>Build, test, and maintain software for card payments integrations across the company’s codebases to communicate with external card networks and payment processors using industry-standard protocols; </li>
<li>Consult with and advise peers on integration architecture and payment processing implementation choices; and</li>
<li>Analyze user needs and payment processing requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints for card network integrations</li>

<h2><strong>Who you are</strong></h2>
<h3><strong>Minimum requirements</strong></h3>
<p>Must have a Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, or a related field, plus two (2) years of experience in Software Development.</p>
<p>Must also have two (2) years of experience in each of the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>Writing and debugging computer code;</li>
<li>Writing software to issue and serve HTTP requests;</li>
<li>Java, Ruby, Scala, or Python; and</li>
<li>API, REST, Soap, Agile, Jira, GIT, AngularJS, or NodeJS.</li>
</ul>
<p>Must also have one (1) year of experience in each of the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>Payment processing in payins acquiring financial systems related to authorization and clearing flows with major global card networks including Visa and Mastercard;</li>
<li>Data modeling of card features in acquiring payments for financial processing systems;</li>
<li>Working with ISO 8583 messages, and data warehouse queries; and</li>
<li>Cloud.</li>
</ul>
<p>Salary: $156,800 - $235,200/yr.</p>
<p>This salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions/sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.</p>
<p>40 hrs/week</p>
<p><strong>50% Telecommuting permitted.</strong></p>
